Job Overview:

As a Sales Engineer within our food manufacturing company, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by leveraging your technical expertise and industry knowledge. Your primary focus will be on promoting our products to potential clients, identifying opportunities, and supporting the sales process through effective communication and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Expertise:

    • Understand the technical aspects of our food products, including ingredients, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to customers during the sales process.

  2. Sales and Customer Interaction:

    • Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the food industry.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for achieving sales targets.

  3. Product Presentations and Demonstrations:

    • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our offerings.
    • Address technical inquiries and concerns from customers.

  4. Market Research and Analysis:

    • Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
    • Analyze market data to identify new opportunities and areas for growth.

  5. Project Management:

    • Coordinate with internal teams (production, R&D, quality assurance) to meet customer requirements and deliver on commitments.

  6. Negotiation and Sales Support:

    • Negotiate contracts and terms with customers.
    • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or technical roles within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical information clearly.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in market analysis and project management.
  • Result-oriented with a track record of meeting sales targets.
